CEO. Jules Chenoweth
Jules Chenoweth, Started his working career as a Royal Marine Commando after serving several years he was injured in the Arctic and was medically discharged. This forced a career change and he got a seasonal job building festivals for the Mean Fiddler (later Festival Republic). During the summer months he worked on the festival circuit building festivals such as Reading & Homelands, in the winter he had taken a job working for scientific organisations in expeditions to the jungles of South America, he did this for 6 years becoming expedition leader and discovering many archaeological sites and bringing the discoveries to the attention of the world. He returned to the UK as he had decided to settle down and start a company and try to earn some money. He built several companies from scratch to multimillion pound turnover business’s in Waste management and haulage industries, later moving in to concrete production & aggregate bagging and created the Maenkarne Group of business’s. In 2017 he sold the Maenkarne group which continues to successfully operate to this day and of which he is the Chairman. In the last 4 years Jules has become a rock band manager, built a retail park (Chenoweths Business Park Ltd), become a sommelier and opened wine shops (The Old Garage Ltd), built a music venue and run shows (The Yard), started a waste management business (Chenoweths Trading Co Ltd), specialised in holiday let waste (CTCwaste), an artist management company (UVW Ltd), an equestrian centre (Owrek Equestrian Ltd) a live music booking agency (Route One Booking Ltd), taken the role of commercial officer in a music distribution business (Route Note Ltd) and consulted on festival waste solutions. He sits on several corporate business boards and performs chairman roles in addition to many directorate roles across multiple business’s.
